Access to information is granted as necessary only to Medbuy employees or other companies engaged by Medbuy to process data on our behalf.Contact information for Medbuy Members, staff and registered suppliers is listed in an online directory on the password-protected, secure access portion of the site. The directory is accessible by Medbuy staff and Members only. Information listed in an online profile, if available, is limited to: name, title, organization and facility, work address, telephone, direct telephone, fax and e-mail address.
Members and registered suppliers have access to the personal information that we retain and can opt out of the directory listing, change or correct personal information at any time by visiting Medbuy's online HelpCentre, or by phone at (519) 652.1688 extension 199.
Medbuy's Members have an additional option to change contact information. Log-in to the Members' website and select the "My Profile" menu option.
How do we keep your information secure?
- All personal information provided is stored in a secure computing environment protected by secure firewalls to prevent unauthorized access.
- Access to information is granted only to Medbuy employees as necessary and all staff is required to adhere to a security agreement.
- A confidential username and password unique to each person is required to access the Medbuy Members' site and web-based applications.
- Each user is responsible for keeping their personal password confidential and secure.
- The Medbuy Members' site is access-controlled. Members have access only to information to which they are authorized.
Acceptable Use Policy
The user agrees to the terms and conditions outlined below by accessing any portion of the Medbuy website.
Medbuy's website is a no fee service offered by Medbuy Corporation. The contents of the Medbuy website are provided for informational purposes only. Such information may not otherwise be used, reproduced, broadcast, published or re-disseminated without prior written permission from Medbuy.
Contracting information on the Medbuy website must not be used or reproduced in such a way that compromises the confidentiality of the data or infringes on contractual responsibilities. The contracting information provided on the Medbuy website and through our web-based applications must not be shared with any third party without the written consent of Medbuy.
By accessing the Members' site, web users must accept Medbuy's standard non-disclosure agreement that protects the proprietary information of our membership.
You may not use any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Medbuy website. You may not take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on Medbuy infrastructure.
Medbuy reserves the right to modify, in any manner, the Medbuy website and/or any link or linking program at any time for any reason.
Medbuy's website may contain links to other external websites. Medbuy is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of those sites.
