Our Pharmacy Program
Medbuy's Pharmacy Program offers Members nationally standardized contracts for a wide array of injectable, oral and topical medications in addition to pharmacy supplies.
From pharmaceuticals to total parenteral nutrition products, Medbuy now has Pharmacy contracts for over 3,300 SKUs in product categories such as:
- Adrenergic blocking agents
- Antibiotics
- Anaesthetics
- Antiarrythmic agents
- Calcium salts and calcium regulators
- Centrally acting skeletal muscle relaxants
- Corticosteroids
- Diuretics
- Hypnotics
- Narcotic analgesics
- Non-narcotic analgesics and antipyretics
- Tranquilizers and anti-manic and anti-anxiety drugs
Members work with our Pharmacy team of Contracting Directors and Contracting Administrators, which includes experienced pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and business professionals with procurement expertise, who understand supply chain issues, contract management processes and the impact pharmaceuticals have within the healthcare setting.
Medbuy plays a pivotal role in assisting and supporting its Member Pharmacy Committee, which makes all decisions related to contract awards. When making award decisions, the Pharmacy Committee also has the added benefit of advice and expertise from its Buyers Committee, a sub-committee of technical experts.
