Our team is composed of Registered Nurses, Licensed Pharmacists, Pharmacy Assistants, certified purchasing professionals, and business professionals with supply chain expertise who understand first-hand the clinical considerations as well as the challenges facing healthcare organizations today. We work directly with our membership to provide assistance, insight and support throughout the entire contracting cycle to ensure quality products are available at the best possible price.
Our Flexibility
Members join Medbuy because they understand and have evidence that standardization and high compliance can maximize savings opportunities. Our single-source contracts have long been the best way to do this. However, we also offer multi-source opportunities on an as-needed basis for product categories that simply cannot be standardized across all organizations. In this way, Members get the products and services their organizations need while continuing to receive the best possible pricing.
Our Support
Medbuy is a Member-driven organization. We leverage the extensive expertise of our staff to support Member needs and decision-making throughout each stage of the contracting process. We also work directly with Members to ensure that a seamless transition to, or implementation of, our contracts is achieved. Medbuy provides its Members with access to a spend management system of web-based applications that help identify new contract opportunities, establish and manage contracts that best meet our Members' needs and maximize the savings potential. In fact, Medbuy is the only GPO in Canada with the capacity to provide a sophisticated technology suite to its membership that has the power to enable sound purchasing decisions and drive savings.
