As Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, Tom Warner's role is to drive operational excellence across Medbuy. Tom oversees Medbuy's strategic sourcing operations in the areas of medical/surgical and MRO and has responsibility for key support services including data management, human resources, finance, information technology and project management.

Tom is a Chartered Accountant with nearly two decades of progressive financial and operations senior management experience. Most recently, he served as CFO and CIO of Aquaterra Corporation, a Canadian producer and distributor of bottled water and water filtration systems. Tom also led the improvement of supply chain performance at the H. J. Heinz Company of Canada manufacturing facility in southwestern Ontario.

In addition to his C.A. designation, Tom holds a B.A. in Commerce and Economics from the University of Toronto.

Richard Jones
Senior Vice President, Pharmacy

In his role as Senior Vice President, Pharmacy, Richard works with Members, government and industry partners to advance strategic sourcing in pharmaceuticals - one of most critically important aspect of the healthcare supply chain.

Prior to joining Medbuy, Richard served as Director of Pharmacy at London, Ontario's London Health Science Centre and was recognized as one of the most highly regarded hospital pharmacists in the country. He has a diverse 30-year pharmacy career not only within the hospital setting, but also in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector and the field of biochemistry research.

Richard is the immediate Past President of the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists, and currently sits on the Board of the Canadian Foundation for Pharmacy. This September, he will become a fellow in the American College of Health Care Executives.

Richard is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan's College of Pharmacy and Nutrition and obtained his hospital pharmacy residency at Saskatoon City Hospital.

Leslie McGill
Senior Vice President, Member Services

As Senior Vice President, Member Services, Leslie oversees a host of Medbuy's corporate services designed to facilitate membership, foster stakeholder engagement and grow business. This includes member services & stakeholder engagement, marketing & communications, business development and government relations. Leslie also co-manages Medbuy's joint venture for Capital Equipment and Nutrition strategic sourcing with St. Joseph's Health System Group Purchasing Organization.

Leslie's nearly 25-year health care career encompasses a unique perspective of the industry. Prior to joining Medbuy, Leslie was President of an Ontario-based marketing firm with a strategic focus on the healthcare sector having clients ranging from teaching hospitals, major manufacturers and shared services organizations. Leslie also spent 10 years with London Health Sciences Centre and its Foundation in several senior executive roles.

Leslie sits on the executive of the Southwestern Ontario Chapter of the Canadian College of Health Service Executives, is a member of the Healthcare Supply Chain Network, and is a member of the Health Industry Group Purchasing Association. A graduate of The University of Western Ontario, Leslie holds an M.A. in Journalism and a B.A. in English Language and Literature.

Mary Blais

Vice President, Planning and Corporate Development

As Vice President, Planning and Corporate Development, Mary Blais oversees several key strategic business priorities including performance measurement, research and planning. Her role additionally serves to connect Medbuy to the Board of Directors on issues related to planning and performance.

Mary has more than 20 years experience in vast and progressive leadership positions in marketing and education. Prior to joining Medbuy, she served in the position of Vice President of Client Services for an Ontario-based marketing and communications firm specializing in the post secondary education sector. There she established a client services team charged with building business processes to streamline the company's service provision. Prior to her consulting role in the education sector, Mary was a Professor at London, Ontario's Fanshawe College in the Business Marketing Program.

Mary holds an MBA from York University's Schulich School of Business and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University. She is also bilingual.
