Medbuy in Ontario
Ontario is home to 24 Medbuy Members, which include leading healthcare organizations and community, children's and teaching hospitals. In 2010, Medbuy returned more than $24.5 million in rebates to Members in the province.
Ontario Members such as Chatham-Kent Health Alliance and Guelph General Hospital have also played important roles in the strategic development of Medbuy technologies, acting as two of the three test sites for the implementation of our Decision Support services.
Medbuy also participates in industry events of importance to Members. We are a proud supporter of the Building Common Ground Conference, a joint initiative of Toronto's St. Michael's Hospital, Hamilton Health Sciences and St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton, which brings together hospital staff, suppliers and industry experts to discuss current challenges and opportunities in healthcare supply chain.
